Omschrijving

The Mitsubishi F1M is a Japanese full-metal reconnaissance and patrol seaplane from the Second World War. The flight of the prototype took place in 1936, and the creator of the aircraft was engineer Joji Hattori. However, as a result of engine problems, the plane entered mass production in 1940. Only two versions of this aircraft were built, powered by the Nakajima Hikari-1 engine with a capacity of 875KM. The first one (F1M2) performed mainly reconnaissance, patrol and ZOP functions, operating both from the ship's catapults and from permanent bases. The second, F1M2-K, is the training version. In the period 1940-1945, 1,118 examples of this aircraft were built. Technical data: length: 9.5m, wingspan: 11m, height: 4m, maximum speed: 370km / h, rate of climb: 8.68m / s, maximum range: 740km, maximum ceiling 9440m, armament: fixed - 2 machine guns 7.7mm Type97 machine gun and 1 7.7mm Type92 machine gun, pendant, up to 120 kg of bombs
